Fat Cyclist

I have been reading about the Fat Cyclist. ( www.fatcyclist.com ) .
I was lead to him by my beloved Pioneer Woman.

Fat Cyclist's wife fought a courageous battle against breast cancer.
She lost her battle.

But her fight lives on...
She moved mountains for cancer research...

I encourage you to have a look at his website...
do something bigger in this life!

STAR testing

Got the boys STAR testing results.

They did fabulous! One that I was most proud of was Ben.
They wanted him to go to summer school. I refused to send him.
They were concerned about his language arts skills.
He scored the highest out of the three of my boys.... and even made it to the 'advanced' level!

Way to go Ben!

Mammoth Mountain

We went to the top of Mammoth Mountain. To Dave's run. I had to see where Dad is laid to rest. Wow... what a view. He is very lucky indeed to have such a view forever.

It was bittersweet... I said my goodbyes, cried my eyes out and froze my rear end off! There was snow there... in August!

Summer Vacation

We left today for a drive to Mammoth then on to Tahoe and Sacramento and home.

We are looking forward to spending time together!

The boys wanted to rent an RV.
Instead we settled on hiring a fifth wheel to be delivered to the campsite when we get there.

They are so excited... Allen and I are wondering what we will get ourselves into!
