My baby is seven. I can't believe it. It really makes me sad. I remember seven. I remember all of everything after that.
We had a birthday party at home. He had a dozen friends and his cousins and brothers. We got a bouncy and played fun games. He really wanted to play pin the tail on the donkey and musical chairs. He had a great time ... and I think the kids did too.
The highlight gift was a game called Rat-A-Tat-Cat and a car that you build with a circuit board. He also loved the legos he got.
He really is changing before our eyes. He is bigger than both of his brothers and is just a funny guy.
We had a huge surprise for the boys! We had a long weekend and took them to see our friends who are in Honolulu filiming LOST. They had NO idea!
We told them a series of white lies to get them to the airport and on the airplane and then once we got on the airplane I think they thought I was speaking Chinese to them when I told them where we were going!! The best part... we made some great memories with our dear friends & with our nephew Nick.
We visited Pearl Harbor & the USS Battleship Missouri.
We went to the Hawaiian Warriors Football Game. They played Fresno State and won. It was quite an adventure!
We got to see some of our favorite LOST TV show being filmed. ... and a little known fact (at least not to us... )Sayid - the big macho man who saves the day and fights the bad guys ... has a thick Australian accent and it sounds SO strange!
The boys learned to surf and had a great time boogie boarding and playing in the beach in Waikiki & Waimea Bay.
We saw massive sea turtles sunbathing on the beach!
The boys hiked to the top of Diamond Head Crater ...
We could have stayed in Paradise for another month!
Thank you to the Sweeterman Family & thank you to my husband for giving us this wonderful gift !
Our boys are doing wonderful in school! Daniel is above grade level in every area... reading, math, spelling, etc... his teachers only complaint is that he makes his little 'm's' look like birds! How we will laugh about that some day!
Josh is doing great too. He is happy, well adjusted, loves his class and has friends. He does great in Math and Science and has even figured out that he likes to read too!
Ben is really shining too. What can I say about him? He is a good friend to all; he is funny, caring, kind... he loves math and has also figured out that reading isn't so bad!
