Halloween Costumes

The boys made their own costumes!
I think they turned out so cute!
Daniel designed both of them and came up with the ideas.
We got random computer parts from a friend of Allen's and then Allen sodered the LED lights onto them.
We even spray painted a pair of crocs to match!
We got many compliments and the boys were so excited to wear them for Halloween...
that was until the Wednesday before Halloween when Ben decided he doesn't like having his face covered!
He changed his costume and went as a nerd! What a nerd!

Poor Ben

It's always Ben.
He was sick, sick, sick the past few days.
High fever, sore throat and feeling rotten.
We had some nasty fires yesterday around us and the sky is terrible.

Ben had a bloody nose while he was sleeping.
He didn't know it and Allen didn't either.
Ben locked himself in the bathroom and promptly started to vomit tons and tons of blood.
It looked like a war zone. It was really scary.
Allen called 911 and paramedics took Ben to the hospital.

Just a bloody nose the doctor says.
Allen says, "I don't think so, you should have seen the blood."... Doc disagrees and determines it's just a bloody nose.

He still is really sick.
So is Josh too. It's terrible.

When will this virus end?

Legoland

We went to Legoland for "Brick or Treat". We had a great time but unfortunately Ben was sick and he felt rotten. I ended up spending a few hours in the car with him so he could sleep. Poor guy. He wants to go back to Legoland - I can't blame him. He says he got ripped off. I agree.

Maybe winter break we will go back.

I was very pleased with how they turned out.

"I don't know mom, arfrakel..., it's bad for you."

Daniel lost his 2 front teeth on the 1st and 2nd Day of 2nd Grade!
