Kate Cooks Dinner

Kate called me and said, "Aunt Jan, can I come visit with my family, I will bring dinner..." ... I was thrilled that she wanted to come and visit and so were the boys.  She has been working really hard and needed some family lovin'!  She came and made a delicious dinner!!  Love that she cooked for us... hated the clean up...

Dinner with the Cousins

We don't get to see the cousins often enough.  When we do it's a treat.  We took Madi, Lily & Jake to dinner at Islands... Fun to have the six kids in one place! :) 

Hairspray!

Ben had his fifth grade play.  He got one of the leads as Edna Turnblad from Hairspray.  He has such courage and such personality... he put on a dress, lipstick and even stuffed his bra so he could really play the part of Edna!  Click on the link for the video from the show!

Best Friend

Ben made the placecards for our Thanksgiving feast. We had our family, Nanny & Pop and some dear friends.

He wrote everyone's name and decorated the cards.

For Daniel's he wrote "DD" - his nickname for him...
drew two stick figures and labeled them "Me" and "You"
and then wrote "Best Friends."

That made me cry.
I love that they have such a special relationship.

I found these rules hanging on Daniel's bulletin board in his room today!

1. Ask me if you want to take apart a lego ship.
2. Clean up after yourself.
3. Don't lay in my bed.
4. Don't touch my desk.
5. Have fun.
